Hello Lovelies,

I hope all of you are doing well.Today I wanted to talk about talents.I’m sure we’ve all heard of or read the parable of talents in the Bible ( Matthew 25:13-40).Quick recap:A master entrusted his three servants with five talents, two talents and  one talent each according to their ability.The servants with five and two talents each doubled theirs, while the one with one decided to bury his.When the master came back, he was impressed with the two who had invested their talents wisely.The servant with the buried talent  had it taken away from him because he did not do anything with it.

In the same way, God has given each one us a talent(s).Some of us know what our talents are while some of us are still trying to figure all of that out.As children of God, how are we utilizing our talents and how are we using these to bring glory to God’s name?People are talented in a multitude of areas.Some are great at drawing, dancing, singing, bringing people together, writing, encouraging others, making clothes etc.It doesn’t matter what it is but we must ensure that we cultivate these talents , and most importantly recognize where the gift came from =God.We cannot sit idly and pray for things to change when God has given us a gift, lest we become like the servant who buried his talent.

God will give each one of us according to our ability.We must be faithful with little and make the most of it before God can entrust us with more.My challenge to each of us is to utilize our talents and use them to bring glory and honor to God’s name.
